How I lost over 30 pounds using apple cider vinegar
Whitney Blake is a young mom who struggled to lose the weight she gained during her last pregnancy. After trying several restrictive diets and other popular remedies, she was on the verge of giving up. Then she first heard about apple cider vinegar as a way to help people lose weight, and that's when she decided to get down to business and try one more time.
After many days of research, Whitney came up with a plan that included three decisive actions that would help her get her food intake under control to help her lose the weight she had been trying to get rid of for months on end. Her three step plan consisted of the following:
- No more than 1200 calories per day – Being used to a higher caloric intake, this seemed like the most difficult part of her plan, but, after researching low calorie diets for diabetics, she was able to adhere to her new eating habits quite easily.
- Intermittent fasting – while this step may sound ominous it's actually quite easy to follow. The basic idea is to eat during certain hours of the day, and fast for the rest of them. With a low calorie diet, this step became one that would need a bit of getting used to, but with the decisiveness of her will to lose weight, soon she would get used to it. Whitney chose to eat all her meals in a period of 8 hours, between 11:00 am and 7:00 pm, while abstaining from food the other 16 hours of the day. This gave her plenty of time to complete her digestive process and not go to bed feeling full.
- Apple cider vinegar – At the start of her non-fasting hours, prior to ingesting any food, Whitney would ingest a cup of water mixed with two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar and lemon. The lemon served to enhance the flavor of the beverage, while the water actually helped her feel fuller, which, in turn, assisted in consuming a lower amount of calories.

During her research, Whitney found out that her initial apple cider vinegar beverage would serve two purposes: the first, and most important one, would be to suppress her appetite, the most important factor in weight loss. The second, possibly almost as important, was to serve as a signal to her body that it was time to eat, thus enhancing her metabolism to weight loss levels.
After only a few months, Whitney discovered that she had lost 30 pounds without too much effort. She decided she didn't want the vinegar ruining her teeth, as it has the capability of harming the enamel, so she would drink the beverage and immediately brush her teeth as a way to offset any damage, or drink a pre-diluted blend. Her success was astounding and soon all her friends wanted to know her secret.
As time went by, Whitney found that not only was she losing weight, but she started feeling better. She no longer went to bed feeling bloated, her stomach felt lighter and the acidity that she normally felt from acid reflux all but disappeared. She also noticed that certain foods no longer made her feel sick or nauseous, and at her annual physical she was told her blood glucose levels had never been better. Today, Whitney enjoys her success not only at losing weight, but becoming a healthier and more balanced person, and constantly points success to help from apple cider vinegar.
